東京都中野区、早稲田通りに面したフラワーショップである。長年この地域で企業関連の仕事や配送を中心に営業を続けてきたお花屋さんが、地域の方々が気軽に訪れて花や植物に触れることができる場所をつくろうと考え、カフェとギャラリーを併設した実店舗を構えることとなった。通りに面したカフェでコーヒーを飲みながら花を選んだり、植物に囲まれた奥のギャラリーでフラワーアレンジメントを習ったりと、訪れた人が思い思いの時間を過ごすことができるフラワーショップとなっている。内装は色味を抑え、また手作業での仕上げを多く施すことで、丁寧に育てられた花や植物を引き立てつつ、それらと調和する空間となるよう意図した。コロナ渦での船出であるが、オープンから数ヶ月が経ち、お店の人達と訪れるお客さんが一緒になって、街に新たな居場所を生み出しつつあるように思う。

Flower shop facing Waseda Street, located in Nakano Ward, Tokyo. Having served mainly businesses and delivery for many years, this flower shop wanted to create a place where the community is openly welcome to come together and experience flowers and plants. This led to the creation of a store with an integrated cafe and gallery. Each visitor can have their own unique experience, whether it be drinking coffee while choosing flowers at the cafe facing the street or learning flower arranging in the gallery. By using a mild color scheme and hand-crafted finishes, the interior design creates a space that complements and balances with the carefully grown flowers and plants. Although it is only the beginning of the journey with Coronavirus, within months of opening, the store will emerge and establish itself as a new gathering place in town for the flower shop and customers.
